Principles of Zen

Susan created Zen Animal Services based on the philosophy of finding balance between suffering and peace, thereby creating a balanced life. At first, she primarily sought to bring an understanding of humans for their animal counterparts, augmenting it with Reiki healing practices, but more recently realised of some of her human clients required additional attention to bring the true Zen nature into focus.

Animals share a pure, true and authentic love with their humans. As an animal communincator, Susan wanted to share how important it is that people understand that animals lack ego and as a result have an inability to lie. The messages animals share with their human companions provides a unique insight into the human condition and may provide healing for both the animal and the human clients where and when required.  As a psychic and medium Susan believes adopting a Zen philosophy helps us to learn how to let go of many of the things that can get in the way of our spiritual progress whether it is communicating with our pets or achieving or our spiritual growth.

Four principles of Zen philosophy are as follows:

1. To Live Means to Suffer

2. The Origin of Suffering Is Attachment

3. The Cessation Of Suffering Is Attainable

4. The Path To The Cessation Of Suffering Is A Balanced Life
