Introduction to Signs

If you are here reading this blog, you are intrigued by the concept of a higher power or powers and the thought of beings who can provide guidance and assistance when we need it. This blog explores our need to reach out for help.

The Introduction to Angels blog provides a brief overview of Guardian Angels, Archangels, Spirit Guides and Angel Team.

When you request assistance from these any of these sources, it is not uncommon to want confirmation your request has been received. How can you do this? Asking for a sign is a good place to start.

What is a Sign?

A sign is something you request from the entity as confirmation of the question you posed to your Angels, Archangels or Spirit Guides or Angel Team.

Auditory

You can ask to hear an auditory sign. If you are not specific, you could hear a tone, a ringing, or a buzzing in your ears (not the same as tinnitus). Being specific about a favourite song will help you to know this is a sign of confirmation.

Physical

You can request physical sensations instead. Request butterflies, goosebumps, or chills as signs of confirmation.

Repetitive Numbers

These are strings of numbers or chains of numbers also known as angel numbers. In addition to providing confirmation, repetitive numbers can be looked up on websites for meanings based on numerology.

Meaningful Items

Select an item that is meaningful to you. For instance feathers, dimes, or a specific type of bird like a cardinal, magpie, or robin.

Butterflies, dragonflies, or creatures from nature can also be selected as long as they are meaningful to you and will be recognisable as a sign.

Watch for the Signs

Please ensure you watch carefully for the signs when you have made a request from any of your Angels or Spirit Guides. Receive the signs with gratitude. Your connection to the Divine and universe remain in tact at all times. The power of observation and the ability to interpret the signs is what takes practice.
